Cardi-shawl
Wednesday, May 19, 2010 | 11:02 pmIt seems like every where I look I see the “drape cardigan” in stores and fashion magazines. I am un-decided if these are deliciously cozy or borderline sloppy. With Spring/Summer on its way, it would be nice to have some added fabric to fend off the over-active air conditioning that seems to plague every library workroom I’ve been in (and don’t get me started about working in an academic archive – brrrrr!) but I wonder if it is one of those items that needs a good accessory to make it work, like a big belt, to give it a more polished look. If that’s that case, maybe they aren’t for me.

You should cast on! I doubt that it would take you that long to make a cardigan, since you bust out socks on a regular basis!

I loooooove this style of cardigan – definitely in the “deliciously cozy” camp. And I’m even thinking about knitting one, although it would take 2.5 years.
